2 ounces (1/4 cup) gin (Magellan Blue Gin if you can find it, Hendrick's otherwise)
1/2 to 1 ounce (1 to 2 Tablespoons) *freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 ounce (1 Tablespoon) crème de violette (Rothman & Winter)
1 teaspoon maraschino liqueur (Luxardo)

Start with 1 T of lemon juice, then you can add more if you think it needs it.
With *freshly squeezed lemon juice, I usually go with 2 T.
If you're using "ReaLemon" or a plastic squeezy lemon thingy, 2 T will definitely be too much.

Shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Optionally garnish with a Maraschino cherry.
