Pumpkin Pie
Bubba Durand

1 1/2 c cooked pumpkin (or butternut squash)
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 t salt
2 t cinnamon
1 t ground ginger
1/2 t ground clove
3 eggs
1 C cream
1 unbaked pastry crust
Pecan halves

Pre-heat oven to 375.
Mix everything except the crust and pecans.
Pour into pie shell.
Decorate with pecan halves.
Bake at 375 for 20 minutes.
Cover crust with a pie crust shield and reduce heat to 325.
Bake until the filling puffs around the edges and the center
is almost set (jiggles slightly in the center when shaken), about 35 - 40 minutes.
